My name is Jahanna Allen. I am a junior at the Bijou school. I joined journalism because I thought it
would be a great opportunity to learn how I can further my growth in being a journalist and a writer.
Although journalism has taught me independence it has also taught me how to work with others and
become a team. Journalism has also taught me how to step out of my comfort zone by working with
others, interviewing people for articles, and etc.
