I joined journalism to bring more controversial topics to the forefront and raise awareness about societal issues. Although I am involved In many other extracurriculars, this class and group of people have helped shape who I am. Journalism has been a wonderful experience and has opened many opportunities for me. As an English major, I've been working immensely hard on understanding the personalization behind written art; journalism being a huge part of my learning. I look forward to seeing Odyssey's journalism and yearbook continue bringing amazing work, and to continue growing.
