This year’s play, Over Realm’d, by J. Patrick Moss, is Odyssey Drama’s most ambitious play yet.  It requires seventeen actors (not to mention understudies) and five scene changes.  Synopsis, short version:  “When some friends gather to play their weekly role-playing game, Realm, a wish goes awry, a portal opens, and they find themselves falling through a void to the lush grasses of a distant, unfamiliar land.”  The gamers then encounter all kinds of geeky weirdness in order to fulfill their quests and return to Kris’ basement.  Drama club will meet Wednesdays in the Black Box theater after school starting January 9.
